We are in planning stages for 2018 trips. At this time, we have the following ready to reserve. We would love to have you travel with us. Traveling by bus with a group is a fun, worry free way to see the sights and make new friends. When we arrive in Bloomfield, Iowa, we will have a restroom stop at Mutchler Center and pick up our tour guide who will welcome us to Davis County and give us brief history highlights.

Narrated tour with guide: snapshot of National Register Courthouse and square, and a few historic homes

Day 1, October 10th

4:30 am Bus to depart from the garage
5:45- 6:00 am Greenfield-City Lot
6:35-6:45 am Winterset at Shopko - north side of their lot
7:15-7:20 am Norwalk - Redeemer Baptist Church - park anywhere
7:35-7:45 am Southridge- (Far north end of Target Parking Lot)
8:15-8:30 am Quality Inn on Merle Hay Rd just south of I-80-(park near NE end of lot near the dumpster)
9:15-9:45 am Restroom stop at McDonald's in Story City
12:00-1:00 pm Lunch (included) at Country Junction Restaurant in Dyersville
1:00-2:15 pm National Farm Toy Museum
2:45-4:30 pm Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque
4:30 pm- Depart Depart
5:00- 6:15 pm Enjoy included Dinner at Breitbach's in Balltown, Iowa.
Breitbach's was first opened in 1852. It is Iowa's oldest restaurant & Bar. The great, great grandfather of the current owner bought the restaurant in 1862 and it has remained in the family since then. There were two fires in 2007 and 2008. It reopened in 2009. It serves traditional American food made from scratch. It was voted one of Iowa's top ten Best Restaurants.

Day 2, October 11th
6:15 am- Depart the hotel
6:30 am- Board The Celebration Belle where we will have Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with Entertainment and Snacks in between.

Driver will now return to the hotel and transport all luggage to the Comfort Inn & Suites in Le Claire to arrive mid-afternoon.
Driver to meet Celebration Belle at their dock in Moline, Illinois. Boat arrives at 6:30 pm.   Transport travelers to the Comfort Inn & Suites.

When we dock, the driver will be there to pick us up and take us to the hotel.
The boat is scheduled to dock at 6:30 pm.

Day 3, October 12th
Breakfast at the hotel
7:00 am- Bags out
8:00 am- Depart from the hotel
30 minutes at Restroom stop at Grinnell
11:15-11:30 am- Drop off at Quality Inn
12:00-12:05 pm- Drop off at Target at Southridge
12:20-12:25 pm- Norwalk Redeemer Baptist Church
12:55-1:00 pm- Winterset at Shopko
1:30 pm- Drop off in Greenfield
2:45 pm- Arrive back in Des Moines

Day 1: ARRIVE FAIRBANKS

Today we board our flight to Fairbanks, where we'll receive a warm welcome and transfer to our hotel for a two-night stay. Tonight, explore the city on your own soaking up the local flavor.

Day 2: RIVERBOAT DISCOVERY - GOLD DREDGE TOUR - FAIRBANKS FREE TIME

Our first day in Alaska immerses us in the area's history. Feel the frontier-friendly atmosphere of Fairbanks on a leisurely cruise down the Tanana River aboard the sternwheeler "Riverboat Discovery". Highlights include a visit to the Chena Indian village and the home of Susan Butcher, three-time Iditarod dog sled race winner. We'll even see an Alaskan bush pilot in action. Next we travel by coach to Gold Dredge #8 where we will tour and even pan for gold! Later, return to Fairbanks for the rest of the evening at leisure. Choose an optional tour or explore Fairbanks on your own. The evening is free as well, so enjoy!

Day 3: DENALI NATIONAL PARK

This morning, recharge your camera as we travel by motorcoach through the beautiful Alaskan wilderness to Denali National Park. Nearby the exclusive Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge features dining and attentive service. A free afternoon awaits you with ample time to partake in one of many optional tours. Overnight here for an unforgettable two- night stay.

Day 4: NATURAL HISTORY TOUR - DENALI

A morning of adventure is yours on the interesting Natural History Tour. This excursion takes you into the heart of Denali National Park for the best wildlife viewing and lookout points of Mt. McKinley. Watch for grizzly bears, moose and Dall sheep. Your afternoon will be free to explore more of the area. Relive the days experiences this evening. Sweet dreams!

Day 5: DENALI EXPRESS  -  WHITTIER -  BOARD SHIP

Transfer to the rail station and ride the glass-domed Denali Express. Experience fine dining, service and nonstop 360- degree views. Arrive in Whittier where your train pulls right up to the ship with Princess's exclusive rail and sail program! Our ship sets sail this evening as we begin our Alaskan cruise. Prepare to be pampered and amazed!

Day 6: HUBBARD BAY (CRUISING)

Glide into the bay that holds the longest tidewater glacier in Alaska, with an open calving face of six miles. Experience this peaceful world, where the silence is broken only by huge chunks of centuries-old ice crashing into the sea.

Day 7: GLACIER BAY (CRUISING)

See spectacular views as our Princess ship cruises through pristine Glacier Bay National Park. Watch for marine life including hump back whales, sea otters, porpoises, and harbor seals.

Day 8: SKAGWAY (PORT OF CALL)

Arrive in Skagway, once the "Gateway to the goldfields". Memories of the gold rush are everywhere. The downtown Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park District is filled with local lore. Explore it on foot or by streetcar with a costume conductor who will weave spellbinding tales of Skagway's cast of colorful characters.

Day 9: JUNEAU (PORT OF CALL)

This is the capital of the state of Alaska and is a fascinating place to explore. Sightsee and shop in town or choose from a wide array of optional shore excursions.

Day 10: KETCHIKAN (PORT OF CALL)

Southeast Alaska's "first city", Ketchikan is as picturesque as they come. The town is built on piles out over the water and clings to the slopes of Deer Mountain. Then native cultures abounds at Saxman Village and Totem Bright State Park.

Day 11: INSIDE PASSAGE (CRUISING)

Relax in the luxurious surroundings of our ship as we cruise the scenic waterway and count the lighthouses along the way.

Day 12: ARRIVE VANCOUVER - DEPART FOR HOME

Today we arrive in Vancouver and transfer to the airport for our flight home.
