Traveling By Motor Coach

We would like to take this opportunity to explain our position on "traveling by motor coach."

In most cases, arrangements are made far in advance of any given trip date. These arrangements often require a deposit from Stagecoach Travel, Inc. to guarantee the rooms or activities. Many of these deposits become non-refundable as far as 90-120 days prior to the trip. For this reason, we need to determine how much interest there is in any particular trip as early as possible.

Reservations:
Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations can be made by phone, fax, mail, or in person or when appropriate, through your bank representative. The earlier you reserve, the better. Deposit and final payment are due by the dates listed in the trip description. All reservations are tentative until deposit is received by Stagecoach Travel, Inc.

Prices:
Prices are all quoted per person.
Single (one person per room) based on additional costs to us for your non-shared room
Double (two people per room) sharing a room with one or two beds
Triple/Quad rate is for three or four people sharing a room with 2 beds.

Roommate:
If you would like a roommate, we will gladly provide the name and contact information of anyone making the same request for a certain trip. You may then contact that person to find out if you are compatible and make a decision about traveling together. If you are unable to find a roommate, the Single rate will apply.

Pick up points:
Pick up points and times will be listed on final documentation. Limited additional pick-up points may be added along the route to better accommodate our clients. Any extra points will be determined at final documentation time.

Pre-Departure Lodging:
Pre-departure lodging can be arranged for any trip. Special rates are available through us for hotels in some cities.

Special Assistance:
Clients requiring assistance with walking, dining, personal needs or medical needs must be accompanied by a companion/assistant who can provide these needs.

We can also accomodate a wheelchair providing a client is able to walk on the bus and they will also need a person to push that wheelchair who is capable of keeping up with the group.

Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed on board any coach used by Stagecoach Travel Inc.

Restrooms:
Restrooms are available on all coaches utilized by Stagecoach Travel, Inc. These are chemical restrooms are not intended to be used in place of timely comfort stops. However, we understand some conditions that necessitate its use.

Travel Protection:

DAY ONE IS THE FIRST DAY THE DEPOSIT IS MADE TO US.

Reimbursements:
Reimbursements for cancellations will be vary with each trip because vendors now set dates that our deposits become non-refundable. When those dates are reached, reimbursement for cancellation will be whatever we can recover from our vendors.

No-Shows:
No-Shows will not be refunded. If you are not at your assigned boarding point at the published time and have not notified Stagecoach Travel, Inc. we are not responsible and you will be considered a no-show.

Gratuities:
In most cases, gratuities are included for luggage handling, local guides, and "included" meals. Your tour escort and driver make sure you arrive safely and comfortably and that details are in order. We prefer that our clients control the rewards for the service of our drivers and escorts. Those gratuities are not included in your tour package.

Seat Rotation:
On multiple day trips, we need to rotate seats for those who may have boarded later, and wish to have the opportunity to be seated at or near the front of the coach for a short time. It is a very different view. Seats will be rotated for those wishing to do so. Rotation will be dictated by the length of the trip, so that all can have the opportunity to be at or near the front. Those who do not wish to rotate seats will be asked to be seated at the rear of the coach. This will help us to determine who does and who does not want to rotate.
